Piercing is a stat that indicates how many enemies the projectile can pierce through before disappearing.

Piercing projectiles deal full damage to every enemy they hit, except for Grenade Launcher Grenade Launcher, which deals half the damage for the pierced projectiles.

If a projectile has both Piercing and Bounce, it will pierce until it cannot pierce anymore then bounce.
